In memory of his late wife, "L", "A" made a heartfelt donation to Catholic Charities Marisol Homes: over two dozen Warmies—soft, weighted, lavender-scented stuffed animals that bring comfort during times of fear and anxiety. Before she passed, "L" asked loved ones to send Warmies instead of flowers. Her wish was simple and beautiful: to give children in crisis something to hold onto on their first night in a new place - through our Catholic Charities Cozy Companion program. Thank you, "A" and "L

It's a bird! It's a plane! No - it's a KONG! 💙 PetSmart Charities teamed up with us to pack and deliver 1,000 stuffed KONGs for our shelter dogs. We loved seeing the assembly line of people coming together to help the homeless pets of Maricopa County, and the dogs seemed pretty pleased, too! Thanks to PetSmart Charities and KONG for their generous donation. It truly takes a village! #MaricopaPets | Maricopa County Animal Care & Control
