I am a sucker for fried green tomatoes and rest assured that if they are on a menu somewhere, I am 100% going to order them! Here’s the thing though, I don’t like a fancy version with complicated sauces of drizzled with things, I like them plain, simple and must have a cornmeal crust, that to me is magic because the texture is on point but the natural tangy notes of the tomatoes come through and they are everything!!
