Seeing these sweet pups experience grass beneath their paws, feel fresh air, and slowly begin to come out of their shells has been incredibly moving. PAWS Chicago welcomed 25 beagles that were rescued from a breeding and biomedical research facility in Wisconsin. PAWS said the dogs were surrendered by Ridglan Farms, a dog breeding and biomedical research facility in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. Ridglan Famrs agreed to surrender its state breeding license effective July 1 to avoid criminal prosecution for civil animal cruelty violations, according to the State of Wisconsin Circuit Court.
