Here’s what it looked like today at Norfork Dam, where we are currently releasing 9,500 cubic feet per second. Our lakes are designed and operated to reduce flooding and are operating as intended. However, the lakes cannot prevent all flooding because they have limitations that can be exceeded by extreme events.
