Ashita no Joe (あ したのジョー, Ashita no Jō , English: Tomorrow's Joe ) is a Japanese boxing manga written by Asao Takamori and illustrated by Tetsuya Chiba . It is the story of Joe Yabuki, a drifter who becomes interested in boxing in a juvenile detention center, and his rise to fame in the Japanese and international boxing arenas.
