Good morning all, Cyclone Jasper update, it is now weakening rapidly and breaking down, it is now a category 2 cyclone and will weaken further over the next 48 hours. The latest JTWC forecast is attached. It is still likely to cross the coast somewhere near Port Douglas, it may briefly intensify on Tuesday and then weaken again as it comes closer to the coast before landfall. It could also weaken out and not even be a cyclone before landfall. Despite this, huge rainfall is likely for this region
