The other thing, i know people say the Ed30 has a stronger bottom end etc, but what is the standard GTi lump safe to handle? Is a new EM required for the KKK04 or will it fit the standard manifold?

Mar 26, 2011 · It would be awesome to have a big turbo setup with 400whp and do some insanely fast highway pulls, but in reality that won't happen very often. I thought the K04 was the sweet spot. However, it feels a lot like Stage 2 + with better top end. I am not entirely satisfied with the K04. I feel like I should, but something is missing.

Jun 21, 2023 · Have had a CTS k04 on for 2 years and loved every minute. 40k miles, stratified tuned, no issues whatsoever. Consistent with other comments - great mileage, perfect power band, comfortable. Would get exactly the same turbo again.

Jan 7, 2011 · IF you want to put in that k04 you need to buy the euro s3 turbo discharge pipe, hpfp upgrade, s3 injectors, possibly injector install kit just in case you mess the seals up. You dont need the bracket, for the extras, go to ecstuning and get the k03/k04 install kit.
