Jun 7, 2023 · Those Smart Cars were cute, and actually kind of fun to drive (and more fun to park), but fuck, they were not hardly any cheaper than a typical economy or even midsize car, and they ran on 92 octane. If they could have brought thgat price way down and used an engine with regular gas (I presume it was a size/power thing) it could have taken way off.

I don't want a sports car, but i don't need 4 doors, 5 seats, cargo room, etc. I just want a small commuter - what my dad calls a "puddle jumper". If you're only talking 2 people / 2 door aerodynamics, that's a sports car look. Plus it'd likely weigh less. I don't care if it's a 6s 0-60. I just want an affordable electric that isn't a cozy coupe.

I prefer the little tikes cozy truck. All the pro's that the cozy coup provides with a spacious trunk and has two cup holders for long distance traveling. I got it during a promotional offer of 15% off with Target so it was a pretty good MSRP! My only complaint is the wheels sometimes do a whole 360* turn and it makes turning left or right awkward.
