The Lakota West boys basketball team defeated Fairfield 45-40 to earn a Division I regional championship Sunday afternoon at Xavier University.

The Wyoming boys basketball program captured its first regional championship in program history on Sunday afternoon.

Xavier Worthy was arrested Friday and has since been released after the county’s district attorney said he would not accept the case at this time.
