The Brittney Griner experiment was not a surefire success for the Atlanta Dream. Griner, entering her 12th season in the W, having never played anywhere except Phoenix, her fit with the Dream looked questionable on paper.
Heading into the season, Paige Bueckers was the unanimous prediction for rookie of the year. The Dallas Wings guard was the clear No. 1 pick in the draft, and some WNBA talent evaluators see her as a potential MVP- or Hall of Fame-level player.
While they don’t have a win in the young 2025 WNBA season just yet, the Dallas Wings have been talked about plenty over the past few months. Most notably due to Paige Bueckers being added as the No.1 overall pick in this year’s draft.
