The Tigers (7-1, 3-1 American Conference) overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to beat USF 34-31 on Oct. 25 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The Bulls (6-2, 3-1) were in control for most of the game, but Memphis’ offense kicked into gear in the second half to pull out the win.
On Saturday, the USF Bulls and Memphis Tigers will tussle in an American Athletic Conference battle at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
The defeat to Miami remains the only blemish on South Florida’s ledger, and the Bulls responded to the defeat in style, winning their next four games by an average margin of 34.75 points. Three of those opponents were also-rans, but a 63-36 victory over red-hot North Texas was as impressive a performance as you’ll see in the Group of 5 this season.
