The Ohio State Buckeyes have been looking to beef up their non-conference football schedule, and this matchup is getting major hype.

The younger brother of Marvin Harrison Jr is already making a name for himself as the next big thing, and Ohio State has extended a scholarship offer.

Since taking over the Ohio State head coaching job back in 2018, Day has led the Buckeyes to a 70-10 overall record and a 46-5 record in Big Ten conference play. What he has done off the field has been just as big of an accomplishment.

The Ohio State football program got another highly sought-after 2026 recruit today with the commitment of 4-star defensive back Jordan Thomas.

Central State announced the hiring of former Ohio State star WR Santonio Holmes on Tuesday. Holmes will coach receivers for the HBCU program.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four-star cornerback Jordan Thomas committed to Ohio State on Monday, as the Buckeyes added another blue-chip prospect to their secondary. Thomas, the No. 176 overall prospect and No. 17 cornerback in the 247Sports composite rankings, joins Jakob Weatherspoon as the two corners committed in the 2026 class.

Joining Ohio State on the short list are two other Big Ten foes, Michigan and Penn State, as well as South Carolina from the SEC. The Buckeyes got in on the Washington, DC native late, only offering the young man a scholarship a few months ago in early March. It could be a good sign that OSU made such an impression in such a short period.

After the season, as Smith prepares for his second year at Ohio State, he shared a new name, image and likeness (NIL) deal with fans on social media. Smith posted a photo of himself in front of a black Mercedes, announcing that he is joining the Mark Wahlberg Auto Group.
