The NFC West didn't see their Week 7 action end until late Monday night, as the Seattle Seahawks played the final game of the week against the Houston Texans. Nothing changed in the standings, as three of the teams won their games, while the Arizona Cardinals lost their fifth consecutive game and remained in last place.
Mike Macdonald’s team hosts the Houston Texans on Monday night. Simply put, a Seahawks' victory makes it a three-way tie atop the always-formidable NFC West.
The current landscape of the NFC shapes up well for the 49ers to not only make the playoffs, but also do damage once they get there. Of course, they can’t afford any injuries and need Ricky Pearsall and Brandon Aiyuk healthy, not to mention Brock Purdy. It’s not realistic to expect the defense to hold opponents to ten points as they did in Week 7.
