Kothare's vehicle hit two labourers who were working on a Metro rail in Mumbai's Kandivali, resulting in the death of one worker. The actress and her driver were also injured.

One labourer died and another sustained injuries after Marathi actor Urmila Kanetkar's car ran over the two in Mumbai on Saturday. The actor sustained minor injuries.The driver has been booked. The incident occurred at 12.
