Between March and May, nearly all of the $3.2 billion worth of iPhones exported by Foxconn from India were shipped to the US, highlighting Apple’s realignment of Indian production to cater primarily to the American market.

Even though the markets have become mostly numb to the current administration's tariff see-saw, one analyst is worried that Apple may have to maintain India iPhone imports regardless.

Currently, Apple has two official stores in India: Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in Delhi, both of which opened in 2023. These flagship stores have become important centers for customer experience, offering everything from hands-on demos to personalized sessions through the "Today at Apple" program.
