Adam Sandler and the actors who play his sons in "Happy Gilmore 2" are praising Eminem for his surprise comic appearance in the long-awaited movie sequel.

Happy Gilmore 2 is a hit on Netflix, but one thing that's stirred mixed feelings among critics is its packed use of real-life figures, from sports, to a lot of Sandler's longtime comedy collaborators.

Online, fans were moved by the tribute, which comes six years after Boyce's death. Boyce's mom, Libby Boyce, thanked Sandler for "honoring Cam's legacy" in a joint post with the official Instagram account for the Cameron Boyce Foundation, which funds epilepsy research, education and awareness.
