The NFL trade deadline ( Nov. 4 ) is drawing closer, and the Denver Broncos could use reinforcements at guard and wide receiver, but it remains to be seen if general manager George Paton will be willing to surrender draft capital for short-term answers.
The Denver Broncos have come a long way under the leadership of coach Sean Payton, and he knows how important the upcoming trade deadlines could be. When Payton was asked about it in London, though, he indicated it wasn’t exactly top of mind.
Another potential area of need (though certainly not for quantity) is wide receiver — specifically, an upgrade over Troy Franklin at WR2, opposite Courtland Sutton.
