The Denver Broncos managed to pull off one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history versus the New York Giants in Week 7, spearheaded by the efforts of star quarterback Bo Nix. As the conversation continued, Adams asked if we should be comparing quarterback Bo Nix to Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway. "There is something that comes alive in these clutch situations," Adams said. "Am I allowed to ask, Broncos fans, is this giving Elway? Is this Elway-esque?"
At the end, though, kicker Wil Lutz played the hero, nailing a walk-off 39-yarder through the uprights as time expired. Giants kicker Jude McAtamney missed two extra points. That was the difference as much as any other.
