St. Louis County police are releasing new video of an officer-involved shooting and use of force incident that shut down West Florissant Avenue for more than six hours last month

The St. Louis County Police Department on Thursday released the footage of the Jan. 13 incident as part of a "critical incident briefing."

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for multiple suspects in a triple-shooting from last year, asking for the public's help in identifying them.

The legislation would take away control of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department from the mayor’s office to a board mainly appointed by the governor. It's a structure similar to the Civil War-era system that manages the Kansas City Police Department.
