Mamdani is leading his major opponents beyond the margin of error in what is the largest NYC mayoral polling sample size to date.

Mamdani’s dominance only grows in hypothetical four-way matchups. Without Cuomo in the race, he climbs to 55 percent; without Adams, he rises to 51 percent. Even in direct, one-on-one contests, Mamdani maintains a decisive edge: 52 percent to Cuomo’s 40 percent, and 59 percent to Adams’s 32 percent.

These questions are preoccupying New Yorkers in the lead-up to the Nov. 4 election, which includes candidates accused of fueling antisemitism and vowing to fight it (often the same ones). Pollsters are tuned into the race and producing analysis at a dizzying pace.
