As CinemaCon heads into its final day, attendees were treated to a visit from one of global exhibition’s most beloved stars, Tom Cruise. Swooping into the Paramount presentation in support of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,

“Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who co-wrote the script with Erik Jendresen. In addition to Cruise, the film stars Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Tramell Tillman, Hannah Waddingham, Angela Bassett, Pom Klementieff, and Nick Offerman.

Paramount saved its biggest film and its biggest star for last in its CinemaCon presentation with a new trailer for “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” presented by Ethan Hunt himself, Tom Cruise.

At the start of a surprise appearance at CinemaCon this morning, Tom Cruise took a moment to honor his Top Gun co-star, the late Val Kilmer. Kilmer passed away earlier this week at age 65, after battling pneumonia.
