The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles announced Jan. 30 it would soon issue all driver license exams in English only.

Starting Friday, all driver’s license knowledge and skills examinations will be administered exclusively in English across the state of Florida.

The language update applies across every license category and includes written, oral, and knowledge-based exams.

Starting Feb. 6, all printed tests in multiple languages and interpreter services for oral exams will be removed throughout the state.
