The San Francisco 49ers draft was not well-received by at least one member of the national media. NFL writer Gilberto Manzano gave the 49ers a final grade of "D" for their efforts in the recent three-day college draft.

On the final day of the NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected their first and only quarterback of 2025: Indiana's Kurtis Rourke. The 7th-round pick joins starter Brock Purdy and backups Mac Jones and Tanner Mordecai on the 49ers' quarterback roster.

The 49ers disappointingly finished last in the NFC West with a 6-11 record, but Kittle was one of the team's few bright spots. He put forth a strong season with 78 catches for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns across 15 games on his way to earning his sixth career Pro Bowl selection and second-team All-Pro honors.
