The decision to demolish the campus comes months after an EF-2 tornado tore through the school in December, severely damaging it and forcing students to move to an alternative campus.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A Tornado Watch has been issued for Harris County, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Galveston, Liberty, San Jacinto, Brazoria, Chambers, and Polk Counties through 9 pm Saturday.

Severe storms are possible through the evening in the Houston area, and include a threat of hail, flooding and even tornadoes.
