Three people, including a baby, were killed in a shooting Sunday night at an annual festival and carnival held in West Valley City, Utah, during a dispute between two groups of people.

Police were already on scene at the festival when they noticed tensions rising between two groups there. They walked over to de-escalate the situation when a 16-year-old man pulled out a gun and started firing.

Police in Utah say three people, including an 8-month-old infant, were fatally shot at a carnival after two groups got into an argument.
