An airline traveler has spoken of his shock after cabin crew sat him next to the body of a fellow passenger who had died during the flight. The female passenger collapsed in the aisle beside Mitchell Ring and his partner Jennifer Colin during their Qatar Airways flight from Melbourne to Doha,

They said, ‘can you move over please’ and I just said, ‘yes, no problem'. Then they placed the lady in the chair I was in.” Ring recalled.

After a passenger unexpectedly died on a flight from Australia, their body remained seated next to a couple for hours. The incident occurred during the 15-hour flight from Melbourne to Doha. Qatar Airways extended condolences to the passenger’s family and apologized for any distress caused.
