Daniel Jones' Indianapolis Colts have been one of the biggest surprises of this NFL season, and they could soon be boosted by the arrival of a former Tom Brady teammate — and Super Bowl champion.

The Chargers had the likes of safety Derwin James, linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu, and pass-rusher Khalil Mack, yet Jones still completed 23/34 passes for 288 passing yards and two touchdowns. Through seven games, Jones now has 10 TD passes, four scores on the ground, and a mere three turnovers.

Jones spent nearly the first six seasons of his career with the Giants, but injuries and a poor offensive line led to his being benched and then cut. He would join the Minnesota Vikings to backup Sam Darnold to finish out the 2024 season.
