Green Bay man accused of aiding felon withdraws speedy trial request
The Green Bay man accused of aiding or harboring a felon and obstructing an officer was back in court on Monday. Court records show David Vanderleest appeared in Brown County Court Monday afternoon for a pretrial conference and withdrew his request for a speedy trial.
The incident occurred just before noon Oct. 26 when officers responded to the 1700 block of Western Avenue after a report of gunfire in the area. According to witnesses, gunshots may have been exchanged between two people, one person in a vehicle and another on foot, with both fleeing the scene.
