At least 599 flights were canceled or delayed Thursday at Denver International Airport as blowing snow buffeted Colorado. As of 3:45 p.m., 536 flights at DIA had been delayed and 63 were canceled, according to data from the flight tracking company FlightAware.

Travelers who fly out of the Denver International Airport will be able to get direct flights to multiple new locations in 2025.

DIA will no longer take cash payments to leave the garages. Passengers will have to use credit card kiosk machines to exit. Airport officials say this will make leaving the airport more efficient.

DIA is on track to serve 100 million passengers annually by 2027, but it has some work to do before then.

A ground delay went into effect at Denver International Airport due to foggy conditions. The FAA said just before 9 a.m. that the delay would last for more than an hour.
