Authorities are searching part of Alaska's western coast for a plane that went missing while carrying 10 people.

A search is underway in Alaska after a plane with 10 people on board did not arrive in Nome when scheduled, officials said.

The plane, a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan aircraft owned by Bering Air, was reported to have been flying from Unalakleet to Nome.
