First responders began a search at the lake Sunday after a person seen in the water did not resurface.
The Tempe Fire Department responded to assist with a search, but no one was found in the lake.
The Sailing Team at ASU battles disadvantages with Tempe Town Lake, and will host a desert regatta on Feb. 28 at Lake Pleasant.
