Max Verstappen has been pinpointed the issues he endured with his Red Bull during qualifying for Sunday's Mexico City Grand Prix.

Verstappen's difficulties were on full display as he kept sliding through the high-speed Turn 9 left-hander, forced to correct his mistakes with oversteer. When pressed about the problem, Verstappen replied: "Well, just watch the onboard and turn up the volume, then you'll hear what's happening there."

After the Dutch Grand Prix brought the campaign back into action following the summer break, Verstappen was 103 points behind World Championship leader Oscar Piastri. Four races later, that deficit stands at 40, and over the last couple of rounds, Red Bull have boasted the fastest car in the field.
