The Atlanta Falcons were eliminated from playoff contention after just 13 games, despite no one being above .500 in their division.

Amid another lost season for the Falcons, Kirk Cousins delivered a night he and his team won't soon forget. Atlanta rallied from 14 points down in the fourth quarter for a stunning 29-28 win over the Buccaneers. Zane Gonzalez nailed a 43-yard field goal as time expired to cap an incredible rally.

It is never too early to begin watching prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft. General manager Jason Licht has made the draft the key cog in the machine for the Bucs in terms of roster building and transforming the team itself.

The upset knocked the Bucs out of first place in the division and put the Carolina Panthers on top by one-half game. With its fifth loss in its past six games, including a 24-20 setback to NFC South cellar-dweller New Orleans on Sunday, Tampa Bay dropped to 7-7 for the 2025 season.
