A man has died after being shot in the face Thursday afternoon on the Far South Side.

The rally came after a string of actions staged across the Chicago area and country last week amid widespread outrage over the killing of Alex Pretti.

The shooters remained at large Wednesday in two attacks that happened less than a mile apart on Chicago's Near West Side a day earlier.
