It's perhaps not as immediately impressive an update as FL8 was, but this is another solid step up for the fabulously fruity DAW. No automatic PDC or freezing. Is it enough to tempt new users to FL?
Some of the additions need a little more work, but FL Studio remains a uniquely enticing proposition for electronic musos. Pattern blocks on the way out. Not as useful for live work as it could be.
