The European Space Agency says the asteroid could destroy a city and has a 2.2 per cent chance of hitting Earth.

Astronomers have been keeping a close eye on an asteroid between 130 and 300 feet long that has a very small chance of crashing into Earth in 2032.

This is not a drill. There is a chance - albeit a small one - that an asteroid could hit planet Earth within the next decade.
