Tina Turner's Grammy award-winning album "Private Dancer" is receiving its flowers once again — this time via a jam-packed 40th-anniversary edition containing a "lost" track, set to be released via Rhino Records on March 21.
The master tape was presumed lost but reportedly found just in time to be featured on the forthcoming 40th anniversary edition of “Private Dancer.” Due out March 21, the collection will be available in multiple formats and also include other never-before-released tracks, live performances and music videos.
Private Dancer was Turner's fifth solo album after leaving husband and musical partner Ike Turner in the late '70s. Her abuse during the marriage led to one of music's greatest comeback stories, as Turner remade her career and became one of the '80s' biggest acts.
The song, recorded for inclusion on Turner's hit album Private Dancer, was recently uncovered.
