After enduring the worst season of his career last year in Las Vegas, Jacobs has bounced back in a big way with the Green Bay Packers. Jacobs has recaptured the form he showed in 2022, when he led the NFL in rushing and earned All-Pro honors with the Raiders.
Yes, most important is the production and load he takes off Love — Jacobs ranks No. 5 in the NFL in total yards (1,556). But don’t underestimate the tone he sets early in games with his physical running style, and the effect it’s had on his teammates.

Jacobs did not see a ton of action against the Saints but he still led the Packers with 69 rushing yards and a touchdown on 13 carries to go with 38 receiving yards on four receptions and four targets. As for Carr, he can be expected to sit out the rest of the season, given his injury and the Saints being out of playoff contention already.
The Packers rushed for 188 yards and got production from nine different rushers during the 34-0 win over the Saints.
