Representatives from Utah, France and Italy signed a memorandum of agreement Friday aimed at sharing expertise and working together on sustainability, research and long-term Olympic legacy. Italy has only ever competed at the Olympics once, that coming the last time Italy hosted the Winter Games in 2006. The team finished last in the eight-team tournament. They have a chance to turn some heads in the lesser Group B, though a quarterfinal berth will be tough.
