After losing to the San Jose Sharks, they finally cleared the air on Thatcher Demko's hip injury status.

Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that goaltender Thatcher Demko will undergo hip surgery and will not play for the remainder of the 2025.26 season.

Kevin Lankinen is expected to shoulder much of the workload for the struggling Canucks, who have lost 13 of their last 14 games (1-11-2).
