For the first time in city history, the FDNY issued a criminal summons to a vehicle owner who illegally blocked a fire hydrant that hampered firefighters'

A driver was fined $4,000 for parking in front of a fire hydrant and blocking firefighters during a fatal fire in the Bronx, FDNY says.

Building owner Katrina Curanaj says she has no idea who would do this or why, but the random act has left her on edge.

It’s the first time a section of the city’s fire code has been used to fine a driver of a car blocking a fire hydrant.

Melissa Mercado, a seven-year veteran of New York’s Finest, popped up on a music video published by World Hip Hop, which shows the curvy cop gyrating and shaking her body while wearing only a thong and a skimpy bra. “I have no words,” one disgusted detective said.

The NYPD and FDNY are looking for a man caught on video starting a fire by pouring gasoline and lighting a match along a sidewalk in the Bronx overnight.

The FDNY issued the criminal court summons to Quinaysa Arnold following the Feb. 12 blaze on Anthony Ave. near E. Burnside Ave. that killed a monk and a visitor to the USA Buddhayaram Temple.
