Malik Monk and Domantas Sabonis each posted a double-double for the Sacramento Kings, who rode a dominant first half to a 129-99 win over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night in San Francisco.

The Kings got big baskets from some of their biggest stars to win their third game in a row under interim coach Doug Christie.

Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk found about the firing of head coach Mike Brown like nearly everyone else—through social media. The Kings shockingly fired Brown over the phone right after he held a practice with the team on Friday, and Monk first learned about the news through X (formerly Twitter).

The Kings used a balanced approach to take down the Grizzlies, with 6 players in double digits, but Malik Monk led the way with a season-high 31 points on 6-of-12, 50%, from beyond the arc. Monk scored 11 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter to help close out the game for the Kings.
