ISLAMABAD: Minister for Privati­sation and Investment Abdul Aleem Khan on Thursday ann­ounced that the government will complete all necessary steps to privatise Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Ltd (PIACL) within three months.

"To make PIA's privatisation more attractive, a new roadmap is being introduced, with all stages of the process expected to be completed within the next three months," the minister stated. He emphasised that expressions of interest from investors are expected to rise significantly as the reintroduction of PIA flights to Europe has created a more lucrative and favourable environment for privatisation.
