Nearly a dozen highways and routes in central Pennsylvania have a reduced speed limit Saturday, PennDOT announced as snow and rain fell in the region. Just before 1:30 p.m., PennDOT announced the following roadways have their speed limits reduced to 45 miles per hour:

With a mix of sleet and freezing rain advancing across Pennsylvania, drivers will need to be aware of dangerous road conditions.

PennDOT has lifted vehicle restrictions and returned normal speed limits on major roadways after an icy morning in central Pennsylvania. The transportation department said crews are continuing to treat roads, however. Drivers should be aware of possible icy conditions in some areas, especially bridges and ramps.
