The president said Wednesday morning that imports from India would be subject to a 25 percent tariff as of Friday, as trade talks between the countries hit a stumbling block.

The Senate voted along party lines last night to confirm senior Justice Department official Emil Bove to the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Bove, a former personal defense attorney for President Donald Trump, faced several whistleblower allegations about his conduct at the department, which he denied.
