Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said quarterback C.J. Stroud is dealing with “general soreness” in his throwing shoulder, but maintained that he’s not concerned moving forward.

Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Tuesday franchise quarterback C.J. Stroud is continuing to manage shoulder soreness and is not throwing during OTAs. Ryans said Stroud's soreness in his right throwing shoulder is "general" and is not expected to be a long-term situation.

Stroud was hanging out with Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason on the University of Houston campus for DreamCon, getting up shots with the very shoulder that has so many concerned.
