The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports LSU OC Charlie Wies Jr. is no longer interested and will remain with Lane Kiffin in the SEC. Weis Jr. joined the Ole Miss coaching staff in 2022 and currently serves as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Rebels.
The Philadelphia Eagles have interviewed former Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Frank Smith for their open offensive coordinator job, per a report from NFL Network. Smith was the Dolphins' offensive coordinator for the last four seasons, before they cleaned house following the 2025 season. Smith's resume:
