Jindal Steel and Power share price declined 13% in the morning trades on Friday post Q3 Results that were announced by the company post market hours on Thursday

Jindal Steel & Power's Ebitda during the quarter missed analysts' estimates by around 3%, the first time in the last four quarters.

JSP (formerly Jindal Steel and Power) shares fell 6.36 per cent to ₹786.65 on the NSE today after the company reported a 51 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated profit after tax to ₹951 crore for the third quarter ended December 2024.

The company said that EBITDA per tonne during the quarter of Rs 11,209 was lower on a sequential basis, owing to the impact of higher iron ore prices.

The consolidated revenue rose slightly year-on-year to around Rs 11,751 crore, while EBITDA declined by nearly 24 percent year-on-year to Rs 2,133 crore
