Two Harris County officials have lent their support to a federal lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump's executive order attempting to end birthright citizenship. The El Paso County Commissioners Court voted earlier this week to sign onto a lawsuit claiming Trump's plan violates the 14th Amendment.

"This result speaks for itself. Their friends and colleagues know that Aaron and Wallis are people of integrity," Judge Lina Hidalgo said in a statement on X.
