Friday is continuing full swing into the gentle warming trend. Some limited clouds early will clear into near-full sunshine for the afternoon, helping temperatures rise all the way into the low 50’s for more areas. Only a few stray patches of ice are left, so road conditions should be back to normal for the most part.

THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Cold morning with temperatures in the teens and 20s. We will gradually warm back to the mid-40s this afternoon with a good amount of sun and clouds. We will see more upper teens and low 20s for lows on Saturday morning.

The extreme cold is firmly in the past. Today remains our best chance for snow for the rest of the week. A couple slick spots cannot be ruled out depending on how much snow your community picks up, but we have had much worse road conditions this Winter.
